Being one of the last sons of the famous Honour Stallion Hrafn frá Holtsmúla still available for breeding, Logi gives the possibility to continue some of the old traditional bloodlines from Iceland. In the book “The Icelandic Horse”, several pages have been dedicated to Hrafn frá Holtsmúla and his big influence. Hrafn is considered the greatest stallion of the last century – a sire of gæðingar (dream horses). Logi himself has produced over 30 first prize offspring and has been awarded First Prize for offspring. Logi is listed in the 2005 Stodhestar book as one of the top 20 Icelandic Stallions having 50 or more judged offspring. Some of the other horses in this prestigious category are Orri frá Pufu, Gustur frá Holi, Gustur frá Grund, Hrafn frá Holtsmúla, Ofeigur frá Flugumyri and many other legends.
